Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Manual Machinist .

Position Type: Contract, potentially contract to hire

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Goleta, CA

As an Manual Machinist , you will responsible for:

• Setting up and operating manual mills, manual lathes up to 32 swing, and supporting equipment
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, models, and descriptions
• Machining new or modifying existing tight-tolerance and high-value parts while balancing the needs for both speed and quality
• Providing customers with appropriate feedback and support in Design for Manufacturability
• Documenting processes used while machining and fabricating components
• Cradle-to-grave job planning and execution including machine and material selection, tooling design, machining and inspecting parts.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years of experience in machining and fabrication
• High School Diploma
• Background in owning part processing from setting up, machining, troubleshooting, and inspection
• Experience in fast-paced, R&D environments
• Familiar with conversational programming of CNC machines
• Engineering drawing interpretation and inspection using GD&T per ASME Y14.5
• Familiar with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and providing DFM feedback to customers
• Experience machining a wide variety of aerospace alloys including nickel-based super-alloys

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range : $25 -$31 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
