The Raytheon Electronic Warfare and Signal Processing Systems Engineering department has an immediate opening for an Integrated Product Team Lead. Here at Electronic Warfare Systems, we support the entire product lifecycle - from conceptual design through to production and sustainment. The selected candidate will provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary program teams who are involved in the development of requirements, architecture, design, analysis, detailed trade studies, simulation and test of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. Upon completion of system development, the IPTL will support in the transitioning the technology into a production environment. With over 150 active programs, there are multiple opportunities, not only for career growth, but also to develop innovative system prototypes that support the business unit.
What You Will Do
You will coordinate with the Chief Engineer to prepare and develop staffing and loading across the period of performance.as well as collaborate with a multi-disciplinary program teams to develop and transition systems to production.
You will organize and lead team meetings, internal design reviews, gate reviews, as well as formal program and customer reviews.
You will prepare and present Program Performance Reviews (PPRs), Variance Analysis Reviews (VARs), Estimate At Completion (EACs), and other reports for periodic meetings.
You will evaluate performance of the program/project and take necessary actions to keep the program/project within cost & schedule while identifying and mitigating program risks as well as opportunities.
You will pursue lead proposal activities, perform design performance and cost trade-offs, provide cost estimate, and prepare Basis Of Estimates (BOEs) based on prior programs.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of related system engineering experience on Electronic Warfare or Radar programs including prior leadership experience.
Minimum of 8 years of system development for defense applications.
Experience with Earned Value Management and Program Management
Experience in the design, development, transitioning to production, testing, and/or fielding of EW systems.
Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
EVMS/CAM Certification or applicable project management certifications
Experience with proposal execution from competitive analysis to capture strategy to proposal delivery.
In-depth understanding of engineering development, transition to production, production, and maintenance
Experience with requirements tracking tools such as DOORS or Cameo.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
