Join KARL STORZ, a leading medical technology company, as a Cost Accounting Manager - Continuous Improvement. In this critical role, you will standardize and harmonize cost accounting processes across US sites, driving business growth through financial expertise and process improvements.

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Cost Accounting Manager to lead the standardization of cost accounting processes, ensure accurate product costing and analysis, and provide financial insights to key stakeholders. As a Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate with Production Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Standardize cost accounting processes across US sites

Develop and implement process improvements

Analyze manufacturing variances and recommend corrective actions

Create and maintain reporting packages to support business needs

Collaborate with IT to maintain financial controls and master data within SAP

Lead financial presentations and meetings

Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

15+ years of costing experience in a manufacturing environment

Proven track record of implementing process improvements in cost accounting

In-depth knowledge of cost accounting, ERP systems, and reporting tools

Advanced Excel, analytical, and modeling skills

SAP experience

Knowledgeable with GAAP accounting

Ability to work past normal business hours and travel to KARL STORZ US locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to lean manufacturing

MBA, CPA, or CMA
