Prepare our logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Responsible for routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, maintaining our records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of our storage facilities. Coordinate shipping activities which adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.
Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps.
Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity. Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors. Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes.
Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs. Frequently exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
Frequently exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials. Frequently exposed to loud noises. Responsible for the safety or security of people or property. Inspects, handles, or transports explosives, dangerous or hazardous materials. Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles. Performs aviation related duties. Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a US Citizen
Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret Clearance
High school diploma or GED equivalent 2 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience OR Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills Basic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques Experience with inventory databases PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
HazMat Training/Certification Ability to operate a Forklift Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record Understanding of Shelf Life Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
