Volt is immediately hiring a Senior Machine Builder in San Deigo, CA.

As a Senior Machine Builder you will:
Be responsible for designing and fabricating complex machinery. Looking for expertise in welding,
electrical work, research and development (R&D), machining, and machine troubleshooting. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in building, maintaining, and upgrading complex
machinery, with a focus on innovation, precision, and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have:
Candidates for this position must have a graduate or postgraduate degree in an accredited engineering curriculum (Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical).
This is a contingent to hire position.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Certified Welder with experience in various welding processes and materials.
• Licensed Electrician with experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Experience in Research & Development (R&D) or prototyping in a manufacturing or
industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of motor controls, circuit boards, and pneumatics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred:
• Experience in designing and building custom machinery.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems is a plus

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $31.50 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
