Akkodis is partnering with a large technology client in California who is looking for a Mobile Device Setup Specialist

The Terms:

• 12-month temporary contract (with potential to extend)

• 100% onsite in either the San Jose, Cupertino, or Sunnyvale office

• Pay Range: $35 - $43/hr W2 (depending on experience and level placed at role: Specialist vs Lead)

• For this position, applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Our client is unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of an employment Visa currently.

The Qualifications:

• 1+ year of technical knowledge installing, upgrading and maintaining end user Apple mobile devices

• 3+ years of technical knowledge required for Lead role

• Experience in both complex software and hardware environment

Preferred Lead Qualifications:

• Experience writing python scripts

• Experience with Bash/Linux

• Experience with Xcode / app development

Roles & Responsibilities:

Device Setup Specialist:

• Perform Apple mobile device custom installation and upgrades

• Configurations including user account, app settings setup, and device pairings

• Understand complex SW and HW interactions using in-house tools

• Strong troubleshooting skills for device set-up

• Strong attention to detail for device troubleshooting

• Strong attention to detail with shipping and vendor coordination

Lead Device Setup Specialist:

• Advanced knowledge of Apple's Mac and mobile device operating systems and software

• Proficiency in utilization and maintenance of configuration and automation solutions for iOS/WatchOS setups including:

o Custom device installations and upgrades

o Subsequent configurations including user account, app settings setup

o Device pairing

• Advanced knowledge of quality control methods, understanding of problem identification, and resolution analysis

• Ability to analyze recurring technical issues and deploy long-term strategies
