Red Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opening for a Sr. Computer Specialist. The Sr. Computer Specialist will analyze, develop, program, and implement solutions to complex applications problems. Requires extensive knowledge of C# and Visual Basic Scripting (VBS) language. Work with a team of programmers to design, implementation, and support current and new software for the Navy's NATEC program.
Experience programming in C# and VBS.
Develop end-to-end ASP.NET web Applications. Create windows services in C#.
Program experience in one or more of the following: JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, and AJAX.
Knowledge of Gitlab.
Able to read understand Visual Basic Scripting (VBS)
Program in Visual Studio IDE
Knowledge of database queries and work with stored procedures in SQL Server.
Must have extensive knowledge of Classic ASP and ASP.NET
Implements and manage software updates.
Perform complex software installations and upgrades in Windows
Telework part of the week
Payrate: $117,915 Annually REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Security Clearance REQUIRED: Must already possess and be able to maintain, at minimum a SECRET Security Clearance.
Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
Requires a MA/MS from an accredited university in one of the following; Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistic, Mathematics, Engineering or a related scientific field plus and at least 10 years of programming experience.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: forteen (14) years of combined education (at the undrgraduate BA/BS level) and experience performing the foregoing functions may be substituted for a MA or MS degree
Must be proficient in enterprise and dynamic environments, with creative problem-solving capabilities, and troubleshooting skills.
Must have good communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams on issues, tasks, and impacts.
Proven ability to develop and foster highly effective interpersonal working relationships across IT, software department and government clients.
Must be able to work in a team environment and as an individual with minimal direction.
Experience with NATEC website and existing NAVAIR Tech Data business processes a plus
Prior Military experience in IT is a plus.
