Job description

General Description:
Join a team in the fabrication of world class semiconductor based infrared detectors. Hands-on semiconductor wafer fabrication in a Class 10 cleanroom. Essential Duties:
Perform, develop, and refine fabrication processes. Inspect product at critical steps. Troubleshoot and resolve process problems. Work closely with senior technical staff to perform experiments and document experimental findings. Collect and analyze experimental data. Work with unit process engineers in order to fabricate wafer lots and execute experiments. Required Skills: Skill in hands-on processing of semiconductor devices and circuits. Experience with wet chemical etching; RIE/ICP etching; PECVD deposition; metal evaporation; sputtering; and microscope, profilometry, and SEM inspection of wafers is a plus.

AS in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related field, OR 3+ years experience in a related field Physical Requirements:
Must be sufficiently mobile to work within confined spaces and have both visual and hearing acuity
Must be able to work within a class 10 Cleanroom Must be able to work safely with and around potentially toxic and hazardous materials, chemicals and gases Good hand eye coordination Must be able to work with little supervision and be a strong team player. Special Requirements: U.S. person
Ability to obtain/maintain security clearances (post-start) is a plus Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $99,705 - $124,683 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
