Overview:
Estimators prepare project estimates for projects ranging across all lines of business. Estimators are responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Must be open to traveling to various jobsites.
We are looking for an Estimator that has experience with EV Charging, Solar, and/or Renewables.

Responsibilities:
Coordinates total estimating effort relevant to a particular bid/project as assigned
Checks bid source files to ensure latest information available prior to bid day
Reviews proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
Generates RFI's necessary to establish competitive baseline
Performs material take-offs and mathematical calculations accurately
Determines type of materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractors required
Interfaces with vendors and subcontractors for relevant information/quotations
Identifies potential risks, opportunities, and alternative solutions
Determines labor and equipment needed to maximize profit and efficiency
Reviews, tracks, and records bid results for continuous improvement and history tracking
Maintains files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current/accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors
Other related duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
We are looking for an Estimator that has experience with EV Charging, Solar, and/or Renewables.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent
3 years construction estimating experience required
5+ years Utility Experience is preferred
Possesses strong written & verbal communications skills & manages time effectively
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Project & Excel
Detail oriented with a positive attitude & eagerness to learn
Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business needs
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability and willingness to travel as needed
Ability to maintain a valid driver's license

Physical Requirements
Some lifting (up to 15 lbs.)
Long hours on computer
Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
Work to be conducted primarily in an office, however some work may be completed at project sites
Pay- $ 170,000 - $ 240,000 /Annually Depending on Experience
