Qualified candidate for the Dealer Coordinator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the performance and management of Dealer Coordinators and Dealers. Ensures smooth casino operations by handling various administrative, operational and supervisory tasks.

Responsibilities:
Supervise Dealer Coordinators, Prop Players and assigned Dealers.

Direct the work of assigned staff to ensure that gaming operations are run in a manner that exemplifies our core values, meets established quality standards, and are in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.

Keep a high profile in the gaming area, greet customers, and resolve all customer complaints quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer.

Ensure customer service standards are met by overseeing staff interaction with customers.

Keep accurate shift reports, time off and sick reports, overtime logs, and other reports as deemed necessary.

Hire and manage assigned team members and use resources in a respectful and fiscally responsible manner.

Administer disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.

Ensure that team members have the proper tools and training to effectively and safely perform their jobs. Plan and facilitate training programs.

Provide information in written and verbal form to keep dealers up to date on changes in policy, new promotions, and important events. Track on-going games.

Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to:Managing work schedules to meet anticipated gaming table levels

Displaying full knowledge of gaming promotions

Coordinating the dealer rotation for live games in a fair and objective manner

Contributing to the evaluation of dealer performance

Ensuring that procedures are strictly adhered to

Resolving customer issues and concerns when needed

Conducting training

Inspecting all gaming areas to ensure that they are well maintained and in good repair

Writing SOPs and facilitating the correction of all deficiencies

Submitting financial reports in a timely manner, etc.

Monitoring and verifying Dealer tip contribution forms for correct amounts

Handling phone inquiries

Display guest care by:Acknowledge every client with the following 3 actions, even when you're busy; make eye contact; smile; verbal greeting i.e. "hello", "good morning", "it's nice to see you", "welcome".

Observe clients. Watch body language and listen to their words so you know what they need.

Look to make meaningful connections with your clients daily.

Be proactive in asking clients if they need help or service. Don't wait for clients to ask for help or service.

Display a positive and friendly demeanor.

Display positive body language by:

When standing, clasp or hold hands in front of your body while maintaining good posture. No slouching.

Look attentive and engaged.

Use an open palm when showing a client something or ushering them in a direction.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background and credit check, and drug test.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment team member permit/ badge and Key Employee License issued by the California Gambling Control Commission.

Must possess a detailed knowledge of all games operated at the casino.

Able to command the respect of team members.

Possesses knowledge and experience of best practices, laws and regulations, policies and procedures specific to the gaming industry.

Recognized as a strong leader.

Able to read, analyze and interpret procedures, professional journals and government regulations.

Able to write concise reports and business correspondence.

Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, managers or upper management.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in management, hospitality services, business administration or other field related to gaming preferred. Experience:At least three years' experience in the gaming industry on a casino floor or equivalent experience.

Physical and Mental Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds.

Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.

Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.

Position may require exposure to excessive noise, exposure to dust, gas, flames, chemicals, exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness.

Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
