Position Summary

This Information Technology Manager position within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure department will drive future vision, strategy realization, technology roadmaps, and innovation initiatives across the Identity & Access Management (IAM) landscape. This role has a focus on the delivery of business value & in maintaining a solid cybersecurity posture. Proactive engagement with peers across IT and Cybersecurity, as well as with business partners, is a core job function to effectively collaborate to mature a secure and employee centric product line of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of a team of IT professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and support to ensure tasks are completed according to established guidelines. Offer guidance on prioritizing conflicting assignments. The team includes solution architects, engineers, operational personnel, and service providers supporting enterprise capabilities.
  • Understand and align with the organization's overall vision, collaborating with management to set team goals and create product roadmaps that align with the company's strategic objectives. Translate these goals into actionable plans at the team level.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team, guiding them through periods of change and transformation. Develop, communicate, and manage roadmaps to set priorities. Assign IT personnel to roadmap activities, monitor progress, and ensure timely problem resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, strategic partners, and vendors to identify technology needs and opportunities. Collaborate with internal IT teams to deliver effective solutions that meet business requirements. Implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Promote a business-focused approach and culture, working closely with business and IT management to set priorities and deliver solutions that support business needs and enhance future enterprise capabilities.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of technology systems by implementing appropriate measures to protect sensitive information and prevent disruptions. Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges, considering the broader impact on the area of responsibility.
  • Plan, resource, and provide technical leadership for IT projects of low to medium complexity, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Effectively manage the department's project portfolio through governance and planning processes.
  • Assist in the development and management of the department's (IAM) budget, tracking expenses throughout the year, and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet business requirements.
  • Stay informed about the latest technology trends, industry advancements, and regulatory changes. Make recommendations for adopting new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and facilitate collaboration with client groups.
  • Assess and identify technology needs and opportunities, recommending system enhancements, upgrades, or replacements. Develop and maintain operational processes as IT capabilities mature, and drive the adoption of Zero Trust principles.
  • Partner with leadership to develop strong business cases for technology initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of IT policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices. Ensure compliance with these policies to achieve successful audits. Address any audit findings within 90 days and work proactively with auditing teams to maintain proper controls.
  • Manage the recruitment, development, retention, and performance of talent to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required.
  • 10+ years of IAM experience and a diverse IT background
  • 3+ years of experience directly leading professional staff required.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator preferred.
