Job description

Grapevine MSP, LLC is looking for an Accounting Clerk to process account receivables and payables. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety. Accounting Clerk duties and responsibilities include a high level of billing, reconciling and job costing payables, and account receivable collections. Previous experience in billing, collections, and QuickBooks Enterprise would be an advantage. A successful accounting clerk should also have experience with various office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) and handle administrative duties accurately. Ultimately, the Accounting Clerk should ensure a smooth billing process and help improve company procedures and day-to-day accounting operations.

Customer license renewals

Customer collection calls

Entering account payables

Reconciling third-party billing

Job costing

Posting payments

Other various administrative duties

Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or Administrative Assistant

Knowledge of Accounting responsibilities, systems, and procedures

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)

Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g., fax machines and printers)

Familiarities with email scheduling tools, like Email Scheduler and Boomerang

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements

High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Accounts Receivables/Payables will be a plus.
