At Applied General Agency, an Integrity company, the Broker Relations Representative facilitates professional relationships with insurance agents and agency partners as the point of contact for operational support through prompt and professional electronic communication, in person, over the phone, and via online chat. They address and resolve inquiries including but not limited to commission payments, contracting, and compliance. The Broker Relations Representative's responsibilities require the use of Salesforce to track interactions, navigation of internal systems to perform meticulous research, and the processing of agent releases and transfers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Providing best-in-class customer service focused on prompt and accurate resolutions.
  • Accurately documenting communications and actions in Salesforce.
  • Researching and resolving commission discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Creating and tracking commission audit reports in Excel.
  • Updating our internal system with necessary data.
  • Assisting agents through the release and transfer process.
  • Learning and staying current on Medicare insurance, compliance requirements, and agent contracting and certification processes.
  • Strict adherence to all HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
  • Understanding AGA's Leads, Co-Op, and Marketing programs.
  • Helping agents navigate various internal systems, including online portals and self-service options.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
  • Professional communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
  • Mathematically competent with strong data research skills.
  • Attention to detail, and ability to prioritizing multiple tasks and objectives is required.
  • Experience maintaining digital records in a paperless environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience with data entry, workflow management systems, and web-based contact center applications is a plus.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing business needs are preferred.
  • Experience in managed health care, Medicare, Life & Annuity, or ACA products preferred.
  • Minimal travel may be requested based on business needs.
The general pay scale for this open position is $19.00 -$23.00/HR . Pay for a selected candidate will be determined within the pay scale based on one or more of the following factors: candidate's experience, skill set, education level, and/or location.
