This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 4301 West Markham Street Little Rock, AR

We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interviewing clients in a hospital setting
  • Completing and processing financial assistance applications
  • May be responsibility for maintaining ongoing communications with hospital employees and patients.
  • Provide updates and assistance to hospital personnel and other staff as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of status of applications and client contact on the UAMS computer system/Epic
  • Staffing phones in peak times to assist patients with questions and concerns.
  • Knowledge of financial assistance policies and procedures for UAMS
  • Maintain a work queue within Epic
  • Responsible for internal reporting
  • Ability to float to different work queues if needed.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while in the hospital setting.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Customer service experience
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work full-time Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 4:30pm CST
  • Ability to work full time onsite at 4301 W. Markham St. Little Rock, AR 72205
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Epic experience
  • Previous experience working in a hospital setting
