WALMART SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Walmart Sales Operations Manager will be a key member of our Walmart team that will help liaise with all departments to manage our business operations and support from a consumer centric perspective. They will be responsible for helping build out key processes and standard operating procedures within this department to help drive sales with strategic customer management. This person will be a main point of contact for our internal and external teams to manage account/vendor requirements and setup, direct import setup, item maintenance within our various portals, pricing setup and audits, order management from creation to manufacturing and shipment. They will help manage our customer relationships within our Walmart account and ensure they are working cross-functionally to drive and grow our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help build out processes and standard operating procedures in our Walmart account to ensure the team is successfully managing the business and operations
  • Consistently assess workload planning and team, identifying opportunities to streamline and improve
  • Drive the process to set customer requirements and expectations; setting timelines, costs, and operational solutions pro-actively to appropriate departments
  • Confirm Vendor Guides for new customer onboarding and continued compliance of customer requirements. Monitor and communicate across the organization and maintain in the system
  • Follow up with the internal team to track existing and upcoming orders for the season
  • Ensure pricing is updated in system and communicate to account coordinators/stakeholders for alignment, maintaining information in Retail Link and Netsuite
  • Communicate and coordinate change of sourcing or factories updating systems, pricing, etc.
  • Touch base with all stakeholders and liaise with external partners on a regular basis for alignment
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships and contacts in the industry to continually identify key opportunities for improvement and industry trends
  • Attend all Walmart meetings; take ownership of recaps and follow ups
  • Manage sample inventory and coordination

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-6 years management experience in sales, customer service, operations, logistics and/or account coordination
  • Experience with Retail Link and Luminate
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proven track record multi-tasking in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work effectively across different levels and departments within the organization
  • Pro-active self-starter, disciplined, solution-oriented with a strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office, EDI, ERP systems, NetSuite experience a plus
  • Bachelors degree or secondary degree a plus
