Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor and Delivery Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Noc: Fri/Sat. Day: Sat/Sun.Holiday Requirements: Typically 2/3 holidays, includes eve/day of. Will be On-Call-as much as you like, not mandatory. Please note in interview notes traveler agrees to holiday requirements (will be assigned 2 out of 3 holidays within contract, holidays are considered the eve/day of).Is there a call or standby requirement: Low Census On Call. Requirements:

• AZ or Compact license
• 2 years experience
• Must be able to do a vaginal exam (if come from teaching facility-they have less skill since medical students/residents do these). Scalp electrodes, Circulate a C-section, Newborn transitions, Assist anesthesiology, IV starts, Blood draws, APGARS assignments-must know, Postpartum hemorrhage control- SIM lab coming-fall 2023, Epidurals, Amnio infusion. Water birth-not a must have, just for knowledge
• EPIC experience required
• AWHONN Notes
• BLS
• NRP
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Experience with spinning babies preferred

Other Details:

• # of L&D Beds: 9
• RNs required to titrate drips: Magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, blood
• Floating Requirements: NICU/Peds/Womens as well as MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment - downgraded, or RDU
• Radius Rule: 100 miles
