null START DATE: 10/7 Unit IR Tech- and vascular Radius Rule: 100 miles SUBMISSION PROFILE REQUIREMENTS - Must be in the profile or cannot move forward with submittal. • Start Date - Must match the next available start date, include in attached profile/resume • EPIC experience required. Ensure it is accurate (there have been inconsistencies on the resume versus the cover page) • EMR listed on each work assignment • Time Off- Ensure dates make sense for the required start date and are 5 days or less. • Include within the attached profile/resume. All RTO needs to be in at time of submission. • Resume- Ensure resume information is accurate (there's been an increase in inaccurate information sent). • MUST INCLUDE: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, and trauma level (if applicable) for each hospital. • Explain any employment gaps upon submission and include in attached profile/resume. • Certifications- Make sure certs are accurate and up to date. License- Active and in hand - AZ or Compact- Ensure it's accurate # of suites/labs 1 suite and 1 room (used for less complex cases) per day on average 25-32 per day Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) "BLS, ARRT (at least 3 years) " Common diagnoses/Types of patients "Cases done in Suite: nephro, urinary work, fistulagrams, hemoembolization's, CT and US guided biopsies: bone marrow, thyroids, etc., thrombectomies, some PEs, and occasional DVT. Cases done in room: less complex, para or thoracentesis, port exchanges, picc, lines, etc. More Complex Vascular (done in shared cath lab space): peripheral vascular disease work- DVTs, PE, penumbra for thrombectomies" Top Exams/Procedures done: Procedure Count(distinct ORDER_ID) IR US GUIDED PARACENTESIS/LVGE DX/THERAPY 1170 IR US GUIDED THORACENTESIS 415 IR DIALYSIS FISTULAGRAM W PERIPHERAL BALLOON ANGIOPLASY 166 IR FL PORT A CATHETER PLACEMENT 139 IR FL TUNNELED CATHETER PLACEMENT 107 IR DIALYSIS FISTULAGRAM 101 IR FL TUNNELED CATHETER REMOVAL 100 IR US GUIDED THYROID BIOPSY 100 Job Duties "All areas: rotate scrubbing in and could circulating, and take down of room. Duties related to the PACS: would be expected to perform basics of revising orders, sending the images, and QC of images, and notifying the management team or liaison " Experience or 'Must have' skills "Must have 3-5 years of IR experience Ok with first time travelers Option to go perm if it is a good fit! Ensuring traveler can keep up with busy pace of department " EMR/Equipment "Epic- Must have experience PACS: de constructed off eUnity Equipment: Phillips Alera, Medrad injector, Xper hemodynamic system" Interventionalist hours/on call 1 Interventional Radiologist in house 24/7 Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? "Manager: for additional concerns and resource, and a lead tech who handles more in rooms needs " Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) "Mon-Fri: 730a or 8 a star for 8 hour shifts on rotating basis " Weeknight/Call Requirements call every third week from Monday to Sunday 1 for that entire week, weekend also looped into call rotation Weekend/Call Requirements same weekend as week night call, for a total of 24 hours of weekend call Holiday/Call Requirements no holiday requirements What is call response time? 30 minutes Floating Requirements "Only to CT for biopsies- not in the same area, across the hall Looking to incorporate more complex vascular patients- in cath lab shared space: peripheral vascular disease work- DVTs, PE, penumbra for thrombectomies" Scrub Color/Dress Code Steel grey/ Pewter How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? 1 shift in the unit- hit the ground running Additional Notes Not going to see what you see here anywhere else, a lot of unique pathology Additional Questions: "How many cases per day are you facilities performing?
