A Tucson-based civil general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee civil projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Description

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are achieved on schedule.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to address any issues.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and open communication among team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high standards of quality control.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and upper management.
  • Manage client relationships, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management within the civil construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
