This internship program is designed to empower growth by exploring the dynamic nature of the defense industry throughout Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC). Your summer will be focused in Industrial Engineering in our Transformation team within our Operations & Supply Chain Excellence organization. Throughout the summer, you will be able to expand your knowledge of OSC as a whole while also gaining unprecedented exposure to leadership along the way. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Identify throughput constraints by performing capacity, simulation, what-if scenario analysis.
Drive factory improvement project priorities through the use of analytical tools.
Coordinate factory capability needs for yield improvements and new technology.
Identify and participate in improvement projects to support constraint elimination.
Apply Six Sigma and Lean Principles to include the use of value stream maps, line balancing, and error proofing.
Support manufacturing objectives for cost, quality, on time delivery and safety. Qualifications You Must Have: This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore, year by the start of summer 2025. Candidates must be pursuing a major in the area of Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field by Summer 2025
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
