Job Title: Project Manager/Estimator

PEMB Supplier/Erector/Dealer


GPAC is representing a leading supplier and erector of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB). Who specialize in providing innovative building solutions for commercial, industrial, and agricultural applications.

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion while also preparing accurate and competitive estimates for prospective projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and estimating, with a focus on PEMB systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:


  • Oversee all phases of PEMB projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders effectively.

Estimating:


  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for PEMB projects, including material costs, labor, equipment, and overhead.
  • Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to determine scope and requirements.
  • Research and source materials and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to refine proposals and secure contracts.
  • Maintain a database of past project costs for future reference and benchmarking.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in project management and estimating, in the PEMB industry (required)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant codes and regulations.
  • Proficient in PEMB software (MBS)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
