Position Summary:

RN provides leadership for the Cath Lab and Cardiac service line related to Chest pain Certification to promote excellence in cardiac patient care, which includes but is not limited to Emergency Department, Cath lab, Telemetry and Cardiovascular ICU. This position will also require planning, development and implementation of program goals and operation including budget as it applies to Certification expectations. The Chest pain coordinator will assist with Supervisory duties which may include procedure database up-keep, payroll, scheduling and oversight of procedure quality and/or complications.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Must have an active AZ or Compact RN License.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience involved in the direct care of the ACS patient in any of the following areas: ED, Cath Lab, ICU/CCU, or Telemetry.
  • Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
