The Opportunity: We are seeking an Desktop & Applications Support Engineer in Fort Huachuca, AZ, to provide technical expertise and solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Teams). You will design and implement solutions, automate business processes, and support teams in leveraging Microsoft tools to meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive services and solutions for clients utilizing Microsoft PowerApps, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Microsoft Teams. Provide expert hands-on technical guidance to design and implement Power Platform solutions tailored to meet customer needs. Lead and mentor teams in effectively leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and the upcoming Power Virtual Agent. Automate business processes using Power Apps and Power Automate, integrating data visualizations from other teams and delivering low-code applications and automations. Identify opportunities for improving processes by utilizing the Power Platform and Microsoft 365 to enhance efficiency. Develop and implement Power Apps and Power Platform solutions, sharing knowledge with both pro-developers and citizen developers. Design and enhance site collection architecture on an as-needed basis. Analyze requirements and develop customized SharePoint solutions, utilizing out-of-the-box capabilities, including JavaScript, HTML, and .NET. Offer design support to departmental site owners in creating web content, including assistance with SharePoint design and Power BI reports. Establish and manage the enterprise-level approach to permission management, adhering to SharePoint best practices and DOD PII and cybersecurity standards. Develop and manage governance strategies for SharePoint, including naming conventions, metadata tagging, and term store management. Maintain detailed documentation for SharePoint/dashboard integration, datasets, and data model designs. Create embedded dashboard access workflows and manage permission request processes. Develop and update information management (IM) and knowledge management (KM) governance for SharePoint and PowerApps/Automate integration, including hierarchical permissions management.
