NextCare is looking for an Assistant Clinic Manager to be part of their urgent care team.

Responsibilities
The Assistant Clinic Manager is responsible for assist in the management of facility resources and staff in compliance with established policies and procedures. In addition, assists in ensuring the clinic is running smoothly and that patient flow is at an optimum.
How you will make an impact
The Assistant Clinic Manager supports the organization with
Assists the Clinic Manager with ensuring adequate staffing is present through the scheduling of clinical staff, Clinical Care Specialists and Patient Service Specialists, and any additional staff needed
Maintains skills as Clinical Care Specialist and/or Patient Service Specialist, as applicable, to work in the capacity of either position when staffing needs arise
Manages programs, as necessary, to ensure an adequate level of supplies and equipment are present in the facility. Makes suggestions for additional and replacement of equipment.
Provides feedback to the Clinic Manager and/or Area Operations Manager regarding Clinical Care Specialist and Patient Service Specialist conduct and performance
Supports Clinic Manager and/or Area Operations Manager in preparation and delivery of performance management documentation and communications
Addresses client concerns promptly, utilizing customer service skills. Makes recommendations for and/or assist in implementing resolution as determined necessary
Participates in interviewing, hiring and training of personnel
Ensures that service standards are being achieved. Monitors the service tracking mechanisms for opportunities for improvement as it relates to patient experience
Essential Education, Experience and Skills:
Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; and
1. The medical assistant candidate has completed an APPROVED Medical Assistant Training Program .
Certification is not required but is preferred.
"Approved medical assistant training program," means a program accredited by one of the following two-accreditation organizations:
The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health; or
The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES); or
2. The medical assistant candidate has completed an UNAPPROVED medical assistant training program AND
Certification is required.
Successfully passes the medical assistant examination administered by a certifying organization accredited by either the following two agencies:
National Commission for Certifying Agencies; or
American National Standards Institute
Certifying organizations accepted in Arizona are:
American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) - administers the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam and certification; or
American Medical Technologists (AMT) - provides the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam and certification to individuals who have completed the AMT criteria; or
National Healthcareer Association (NHA)-administers the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam and certification
3. The medical assistant candidate is eligible for hire if they meet one of the following three (3) criteria within A., or B., or C
A. The medical assistant candidate completed an UNAPPROVED medical assistant training program AND
Was Employed as a medical assistant for one (1) year or more after program completion must have occurred prior to February 2, 2000, ; or
(Candidates must complete the Arizona Medical Assistant Candidate Employment Attestation)
B. The medical assistant candidate was directly supervised by the SAME physician, physician group, or physician assistant for a minimum of 2000 hours (approximately working 40 hours/week for 12 months) prior to February 2, 2000, ; or
(Candidates must complete the Arizona Medical Assistant Candidate Employment Attestation)
C. The medical assistant completed a United States Armed Forces medical services training program .

Certification: Current healthcare professional level CPR certification issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety Health Institute or National Safety Council.
Valued But Not Required Education, Experience and Skills:
Education: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Minimum of three years previous management experience in healthcare related field, preferably in medical office environment. Strong human resource and financial management skills. Typing and computer knowledge.
Additional Training: Other medical or academic degree. Customer Service, Human Resource and Financial Management training.
