NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Customer Service Representative to join our team for a 4 month or longer temporary assignment. JOB SUMMARY Handles inbound/outbound calls from participants and/or prescribers when needed to start and process order requests. Ability to research and investigate orders using PeopleSafe and LINKS. Research issues sent by Customer Care, Account Managers, internal customers and Quality Assurance relative to the customer service experience. Notifying requestor of decisions, changes, or other relevant information pertaining to request/inquiry. Responsible for researching and resolving payment issues. Call to offer a direct sale of medications to participants and posting payments to the proper account. Perform required transactions to complete mail order prescriptions. Follow through on standard operating procedures, problem-solving and troubleshooting within guidelines. Ability to work under strict turn-around-times.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from members, providers, and plan sponsors to verify insurance coverage
  • Reverify Medicare Part D coverage as required
  • Research and verify correct member information
  • Provide resolution to questions and concerns regarding coverage and plans
  • Other duties as assigned by management
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ year(s) of customer service experience involving interacting with others
  • 1+ years of MS Office experience
  • 1+ year of experience in a call center environment
  • 1+ years of health care or insurance industry
  • High School diploma or GED

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS Requires sitting for long periods of time. Some bending, stretching or reaching required. Requires the physical dexterity to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and other office equipment as necessary. Requires ability to perform data entry functions for 95% of the scheduled work shift and perform duties in a fast-paced environment with high demands and tight deadlines. Requires ability to view computer monitor for long periods of time without eyestrain.
