Our practice is looking for a highly qualified R2 Business Analyst! Job Summary: The R2 Business Analyst will partner with other specialists, developers, architects and technology decision-makers to guide overall direction of the user interface layer of the site and will work closely with Technical Leads, Application Architects, Software Developers and Management in a highly collaborative environment.

The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering to strategic business vision, enterprise level architecture strategies, and developing innovative enterprise IT enablement practices that build business value.

Job Location: Phoeniz, AZ (Onsite).

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Grafana OSS Stack for observability (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Grafana Alloy)
2. Azure/GCP hands-on with details around pulling observability data from handled services
3. Golang/Python coding or from solutioning background with experience on SRE development and Open telemetry implementation
4. Deploying/leading and optimizing enterprise level observability platform for Grafana OSS products like Mimir, Loki and Tempo
5. Craft and develop standard dashboards in Grafana for critical metrics for various Azure/GCP services using the observability data
6. Research and develop new solutions for other pillars of observability (like RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, Network monitoring and profiling)
7. Understand existing exporters for implementation/improve or build custom exporters for pulling metrics from different Azure/GCP/SAAS services
8. Guiding the offshore team on the ingestion pipelines using Python/Golang or any other open-source technologies

Qualifications:

1. " Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant field.
2. 3+ years of validated experience in similar role
3. Proficiency in specific software or tools

• Primary Skills (Must have skills):

1. Azure, GCP
2. CI/CD, DevOps
3. Observability tools (Grafana/Prometheus, LOKI, Mimir, Tempo)
4. AKS, GKE

• Soft skills:

1. Strong social skills
2. Problem solving skills

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 11/17/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000.00 - $140,000.00/year depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
