Psychology opening in Mesa, AZ- Openings located in Mesa, AZ- Full Time; Permanent- Employed- Candidates must have a degree in clinical psychology and be eligible for licensure in Arizona- The psychologists primary responsibilities will include psychological assessment of hospitalized patients (personality, cognitive, intellectual, and diagnostic testing) and behavior planning for patients who are exhibiting problematic behaviors- Other responsibilities will be determined, based on the applicants facility with psychological assessment, teaching experience, research, and interests- Ideal candidates will have an assessment background with specific interest in assessment and the ability to communicate findings concisely via a written report and oral feedback- Candidates will enjoy working with staff and patients to solve behavioral challenges in the hospital setting- Important characteristics for applicants include a desire to work with patients in a hospital setting, a willingness to work in a consult position, autonomy, motivation, and flexibility- Psychiatry Department includes an accredited psychiatric residency training program and welcomes interested faculty to be involved in didactic instruction as well as supervision and research opportunitiesExpected Benefits Package: - 4 weeks paid time off- 1 week CME time off with CME stipend- 10 paid holidays- Medical, dental, and vision insurance- Life insurance, long term disability, AD&D insurance- 401K plan with up to 6 percent employer match- Paid medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage
