The Claims Representative will be responsible for handling damage claims related to automobile transportation. The role will investigate all claims to provide resolution to the client in a professional and timely fashion. This position will determine the extent of loss and determine responsibility for these events and provide recommendations based on all criteria considered. Decisive decision making capabilities and strong negotiating skills required.

Hybrid role in Mesa, AZ office Tuesdays & Thursdays

Job Responsibilities:

• Investigate and Process insurance claims in a timely fashion by Dealers and Clients.
• Gather all pertinent information including photos, estimates and other relevant criteria.
• Interview claimant and Transporters to gather information related to the claim.
• Handle transport damage claims as well as property claims related to auto transports.
• Scheduling outside vendors for verification and estimates for claims.
• Investigates and evaluates damages to conclude proper levels of compensation.
• Adjudicate claims, adjustments and special projects.
• Work effectively with external clients and internal personnel in providing requested information

Requirements:

• High school diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years insurance claims experience in commercial/auto transport/cargo and total loss handling preferred
• Knowledge the automotive transport industry preferred
• Strong negotiation skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to create and maintain a schedule.
• Ability to access, enter, modify, and retrieve data on PC; includes the ability to utilize various web based applications.
• Highly proficient in computer applications including Google
