Job description
Medical Search is currently in need of Registered Nurses to join a Medical Center in Western Arizona.
Position will involve working with in an Intermediate Care setting in the area, full-time for a minimum of 13 weeks.
The opportunity will be starting ASAP.
Guaranteed Rate of $45/HR
10+ hr/shift, rotate weekends
Job Description:
This is a Department of Nursing Service position that provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse. Must demonstrate the clinical ability to work as Primary RN on the Unit to which assigned. Must be able to coordinates the delivery of patient care on the Unit; completes required documentation; participates in patient/family teaching and discharge planning, effectively utilizing the Nursing Process.
Essential Functions
- To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Provides the basic leadership required of a Registered Nurse for subordinate staff on the Unit. Maintains quality delivery of patient care by completing patient assignments in compliance with the Nursing Process, the Arizona Nurse Practice Act, TJC and State regulations and established Hospital Policies and Procedures.
- Strives daily to give all customers very good care and promotes Havasu Regional Medical Centers Standards of Behavior and other duties as assigned.

- Associate s Degree
Preferred Education:
- Bachelors' Degree
Required License(s)
- Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) License Nursing Service position that provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse.
Certifications Required Upon Hire:
- BCLS required on hire (once ACLS is obtained BCLS no longer required)
- Certifications Required within six (6) months of hire:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- PALS
