The Research Support Specialist II, SIGINT will serve as the primary developer for Army Capabilities and Integration Development System (ACIDS) and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents, including Abbreviated/Capability Development Documents (A-CDDs/CDDs) pertaining to Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Aerial Layer sensors for the Army's Capability Manager for Intelligence Sensors Division (ACM IS). Responsibilities Support the ACM IS while developing requirements for capability gaps for the current and future Aerial Layer ISR sensors. (Manned, Unmanned, Semi-autonomous and High-Altitude platforms) Ensure Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) are updated and properly documented in the Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Concept of Employment (CONEMP), and Operational Views (OV). Ensure documentation supporting the acquisition, testing, fielding, and sustainment of Aerial Layer sensor Programs of Record (PORs) are developed, staffed, and approved in accordance with program acquisition strategies. Support Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) assessments for PORs. Monitor and support the development of Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRCs) and Capabilities Development for Rapid Transition (CDRT) for their transition into PORs. Participate in Aerial Layer sensor-related Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups (WGs) that are primarily focused on Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE)/ACM Electronic Warfare (ACM EW). Coordinate with ACM EW and the CCOE on the Army integration path forward for SIGINT/EW capabilities. Support business development activities as required (e.g., customer technical capabilities briefings, past performance content, technical solutions). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years of meaningful experience TS/SCI clearance required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Senior-level experience in a SIGINT discipline and equivalent experience in Military Intelligence, SIGINT operations, and TTPs. Senior-level experience in SIGINT collection, production, and research. Ability to apply quantitative and qualitative research techniques to perform subsequent analysis. Ability to write technical documentation in a clear and concise manner and IAW-published guidelines and formats, including the JCIDS-directed formats and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to travel as required. Ability to handle controversial situations with tact and diplomacy.
