Ft Huachuca, Arizona 85613 Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret Required Certification(s): • Requires an active Secret security clearance on hire date. SUMMARY Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test Evaluation and Certification II Services (TEC II) contract provides technical solutions for the DOD in support of Test and Evaluation (T&E) services and T&E enabling services. JITC's service requirements are categorized in the following areas: T&E Performance Requirements, T&E Capability Management Requirements, T&E Capability Requirements, and Overarching Contract and Task Order (TO) Requirements. TEC Services are provided to DoD Combatant Commanders/Services/Agencies, federal and state agencies, coalition partners, and commercial entities to aid in the design, development, acquisition, integration, deployment, operational use, and sustainment of new and enhanced Information Technology/National Security System capabilities. Agile-Defense is looking for a radio test technician to perform radio frequency (RF) standards conformance and interoperability bench testing of high frequency (HF), ultra high frequency (UHF), very high frequency (VHF), and UHF satellite communications (SATCOM) radio terminals. The selected candidate will assist in the conduct of pre-test, test conduct, and post-test functions associated with unit under test. The selected candidate will assist the task lead in the following areas: JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide subject matter expertise to all test planning meetings, discussions, and activities, providing input to both the technical and programmatic coordination efforts. • Identify the Unit Under Test (UUT), required ancillary lab test equipment and UUT power requirements. • Identify and obtain the required Communications Security (COMSEC) keys. • Ensure all Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) have current calibration dates and are performing as expected. • Load UUT with required software version identified for testing. • Assemble test station with appropriate test equipment and integrate the UUT into test configuration. • Perform redlining of applicable Test Procedures based on UUT implemented capabilities. • Perform testing on the UUT under the direction and guidance of an RF Engineer against the applicable requirements documents and in accordance with the associated military standard test procedures. • Complete each step of the test procedures, taking the appropriate measurements, and recording the data on the approved data collection forms, and redlining procedures. • Perform regression test efforts based on customer input. • Assist with reduction and analysis of the raw data collected during the testing phase. • Assist with preparation of the appropriate standards conformance or interoperability documentation. • Assis with tear-down and uninstall the test configuration, returning lab infrastructure to baseline state ready to execute future testing of systems. • Assist with a detailed inventory of all customer owned equipment and prepare it for return shipment. QUALIFICATIONS Required Certifications • Requires an active Secret security clearance on hire date. Education, Background, and Years of Experience • Requires a Bachelor's degree; or an Associate's degree and at least 4 years of experience; a minimum of 60 semester hours of formal education working towards an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience; or at least 8 years of experience is required. Additional certifications (other than those required for the position) in the area of specialization be substituted for experience or education but varies by certification. The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties. ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills • Experience following established test procedures to conduct bench-level RF equipment tests. • Experience with RF lab equipment including power supplies, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, various analyzers and signal generators. • Experience troubleshooting RF components, including both analog and digital circuitry. WORKING CONDITIONS Environmental Conditions • Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available Strength Demands • Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
