HOW A CHANGE MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Apply ITIL methodology and lead Configuration management activities.
Manage the Software licensing and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for GEF, in direct coordination with the NETCOM customer.
Manage the Configuration management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the assigned program or project.
Work with the Change Manager, to review all submitted requests for change (RFCs) for accuracy and completeness (e.g. type, documentation, risk assessment, etc.) and manage RFCs through review, approval, scheduling activities, and closure activities.
Plans and supports test migrations and production deployments; supports deployments across multiple environments through coordination with internal development and project management teams.
Works with other technical team members to resolve any configuration and release related issues.
Knowledge of Service Now or BMC Remedy ticking system, specifically the change and configuration management modules.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Ability to participate in special projects as required. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in IT field or equivalent experience
• Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience in lieu of degree
• Required Technical Skills: Service Now or BMC Remedy ticketing system, ITIL
• Security Clearance Level: Be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
• Required Skills and Abilities: Work well with technical teams, support deployment of equipment, review all submitted Request for Change
• Location: On Customer Site Fort Huachuca, AZ • Certification: IAT I (A+CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP OR higher level IAT II (CCNA-Security, CySA+, SEC+CE, CND, SSCP) required on day 1. ITIL certification within 6 months of hire GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
