We are currently looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression for our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.



Job Description

As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a critical role in managing office operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.



Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Verify patient insurance and process billing information.
  • Check in/out patients and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Assist with treatment planning, including coordinating appointments, discussing treatment options with patients, and ensuring the necessary documentation is completed.
  • Handle patient inquiries and direct them to appropriate staff members as needed.
  • Assist with patient intake and preparation for treatment.
  • Manage patient forms and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with dental team members to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.john


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a dental office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Dentrix management software is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized.
  • Strong attention to detail and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification, billing, and scheduling procedures is desirable.
