Seeking Part-time RDH!

Greetings! We are seeking a part-time hygienist to join our privately owned family practice. Your focus here is exceptional patient care. Period.

The PT schedule would be a 1-2 days /week with a possibility for another half-day. We are flexible on the days.

You'll have your choice of a Cavitron or Piezo System! We offer single column hygiene with a scheduled lunch. We use Open Dental software and XDR imaging; both systems have provided training upon your onboarding.

We are a fun team that love to maintain an upbeat atmosphere. We have team bonding events quarterly and have a scheduled monthly staff meeting to ensure our team is on the same page & there are no misunderstandings on what to expect in the coming month.

Duties:
-Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments.
- Take digital dental x-rays or scans: iTero, intra-oral photos, CBCT, etc.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide recommendations for preventive care.
- Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
- Assist the dentist in administering local anesthesia.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records; including documentation of treatments and procedures.
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.

Skills:
- Proficiency in using dental software systems for patient scheduling and record keeping.
- Familiarity with dental hygiene techniques and instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document medical information.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices.

Requirements:

-Must have current and valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist

- Must have local anesthesia certification

-Must have current CPR/AED certification

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
