The primary objective of the Process Analyst position at Emerson is to support the SolaHD brand in achieving safety, quality, and production goals. As a Process Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving initiatives and facilitating organizational change. By providing critical metrics and insights, you will contribute to informed business decisions and help craft the future of the company. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: Promote a culture of safety by actively participating in Emerson's I Own Safety program and supporting safety activities. Drive Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S+1 initiatives by making recommendations and successfully implementing methods, materials, equipment, and operating procedures. Generate reports, metrics, and research to provide valuable insights to the Plant Manager and other departments, aiding in decision-making processes. Assume supervisory responsibilities for production employees in the absence of the Production Supervisor, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining productivity levels. Support the inventory function by receiving purchase orders, assisting in maintaining efficient material levels, and serving as a backup documentation technician. Actively participate in physical inventory activities to ensure accurate tracking and reporting. Implement and coordinate policies and procedures under the mentorship of the Plant Manager and/or HR Manager, contributing to a structured and efficient work environment. Remain flexible to tackle additional or updated duties as the business demands evolve and change. WHO YOU ARE: You are tech savvy with a strategic approach. You can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. You can manage and interpret complex data. FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: An associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required, showcasing your dedication to continuous learning and professional development. Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to analyze data and generate reports. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with various distractions, prolonged standing, Sitting for long periods, extensive computer use, lifting, walking, bending, stooping, and repetitive motions Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship, both now and in the future. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART: Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and the ability to apply them optimally. Previous experience with Oracle is helpful, showcasing your capability in navigating and using enterprise resource planning systems. Manufacturing experience is also preferred, providing you with a proven foundation of knowledge in production processes and operations.
