Torch Technologies is seeking a Program Management, Seniorwithin the Business Enterprise Systems Programming Innovation (BESPIN) at Gunter Maxwell AFB, AL. The mission of BESPIN is to use research, design, and technology to help organizations create exceptional experiences and enduring solutions for airmen. BESPIN will drive the digital transformation of the Business Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate in Montgomery, Alabama. BES is responsible for providing comprehensive IT solutions to the over 750,000 military, civilian, and contractor personnel working in the USAF and managing a portfolio consisting of over 140 applications that must be actively maintained and modernized. As well as developing the AF automated mobile pipeline and Kubernetes platform to enable scalable production environments under a Continuous Authority to Operate supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment for customers DoD wide. This position supports AFLCMC/GBO Responsibilities: This position requires a highly motivated individual with program management experience to include the below job duties: • Knowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines and be able to recommend viable solutions to problems as well as the pursuit of alternative courses of action; and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs. • Abilities to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation, e.g., briefings, documents, and plans; • Abilities to plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment; • Abilities to formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives; • Abilities to support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports, e.g., Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) or Monthly Activity Report (MAR); • Abilities to support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reviews; and, • Abilities to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management Job Requirements Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to maintain clearance at required level. Must have a minimum of two years' experience in managing agile software services and/or programs within the DOD. Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD • OR, bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD • OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, eight of which must be in the DoD.
