Job description

Your Impact: We are searching for a Top Secret cleared Software Engineer to join our team supporting our federal customer in either the National Capitol Region or Huntsville, AL. Successful candidate will support our mission to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. Our team leverages SAFe agile and works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The Software Engineer will be part of a team that will lead large scale data analysis projects to design and deliver on premises and cloud-based applications. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test and manage application development projects in support of IT infrastructure. Lead teams in the design, build, and deployment of applications including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.
Provide technical direction and expertise in a variety of specialized areas including information systems engineering, systems architecture, systems integration, telecommunications, systems standards, process engineering, systems design and requirements specification. May serve as technical director or as a senior technical staff member. Establish system information requirements; design architecture to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements; evaluate and integrate cross-functional requirements and interfaces; evaluate and define system requirements, perform enterprise-wide strategic systems planning; provide technical and/or subject-matter expertise to project, and/or may supervise technical staff. Integration of third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks. Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. Technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer. Here's what you'll need: Active Top Secret clearance 12 years of experience; 10 years of related technical specialized experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. Preferred: AWS Associate level or higher certification ElasticSearch or OpenSearch
