We are looking for: Talented individuals with a passion for technology Ability to solve challenging technical business problems Self-directed professionals Hunger to continually learn and grow We are looking to hire a Software Assurance Security Analyst to join our Enterprise IT Support Services Team supporting the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal. AvMC is the Army's focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms across the weapons systems life cycle. AvMC's mission is to "deliver collaborative and innovative aviation and missile capabilities for responsive and cost-effective research, development, and life cycle engineering solutions" to equip the Warfighter with the best technology today and tomorrow. Responsibilities: Provide application Agile development and DevSecOps services for systems required to support unique AvMC requirements. Provide support for developing and implementing enterprise and Directorate-level applications. These services include, but are not limited to analysis of code, research and development of mitigations, integration and testing, information assurance, and final disposition Interpret scan results in the context of defense in depth, network/computer security, consistent with mission requirements Responsible for providing recommendations on modifications to legacy systems, as well as any new software development. Application development shall be performed using processes and principles IAW Army regulations; Application development includes writing, testing, executing, and maintaining the application source code. Design applications that are reliable, efficient in design, easily maintained, and scalable to meet increasing demands. Develop and maintain documentation for the applications and inhouse processes to describe program and database design, code logic, coding standards, change package releases, and production monitoring procedures. Develop training, processes, and procedures to support DoD and Army Software Assurance guidelines Familiarization with DoD 8500.01, DoD 8510.01, AR 25-2, and NIST 800-53A. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field Eight (8) years of prior experience in a similar role Experience with ASP.NET, C++, C#, CSS, JavaScript, ClosedXML (Excel file generation), SQL, Experience using Visual Studio (coding), SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and TFS development tools Strong communication and organizational skills DoD 8570 Level II/III certification desired Active security clearance required This job posting sets forth the authorities and responsibilities of this position, which may be changed from time to time as shall be determined.
