We are looking for a Modeling & Simulation (M&S) System Analysis Lead to join our team in supporting the PEO Missiles and Space (PEO MS), Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) Project Office, Defense Exportability Features (DEF) Lead, and Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (M&S/A). The M&S System Analysis Lead will provide engineering oversight, guidance, and support to the IFPC Product Manager. Ensure IFPC DEF and M&S/A tasks integrate into SHIELD program plans. Support the M&S/A Division Chief in the development of the annual budget inputs for DEF efforts and the M&S/A Division. Your day-to-day work will include: Lead the technical efforts in the IFPC product office consisting of DEF, modeling, and simulation (M&S), and analysis efforts in the application and execution of systems engineering principles, processes, and activities. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the oversight of IFPC DEF, and execution of analysis for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), Digital Modeling and Simulation (M&S), and analysis tasks in support of the IFPC product office. Utilize engineering skills to support the planning and execution of the IFPC DEF program, system performance analysis, independent performance assessments, lethality assessments, risk analysis, test readiness reviews, post-test analysis, and simulation VV&A activities. Participate in weekly Test and Evaluation (T&E) meetings for situational awareness Provide Input to TEMP production and assist in any peripheral analysis activities requested by T&E. Participate in weekly Software Engineering meetings for situational awareness. Participate in M&S Meetings for situational awareness. Participate in weekly M&S Meetings with AvMC Modeling & Simulation for situational awareness. Participate in IFPC Staff Call and update DEF Chart. Understand and participate in AvMC Data Analysis support team deliverables and updates to the IFPC Chief Engineer, IFPC PdM, SHIELD SE&I Director and M&S/SA Division Chief, SHIELD PM/DPM (SE&I Staff Call), and other IPT Division Chiefs Act as tertiary lead in representing Product Office M&S announcements to AvMC M&S and Data Analysis team when needed. Prepare technical briefings and reports, and brief stakeholders to keep all parties apprised of IFPC analysis product accomplishments and issues. Support product IPTs, risk reviews, program manager reviews (PMR), and M&S Division staff calls. At a minimum you should have the following: An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain. A bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 15+ years of relevant experience. Strong technical analysis skills. Effective communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal with various levels of stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a team player. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office toolset You will be highly desirable if you have: Experience with Army air defense systems.
