Job description

Torch is seeking an Junior-Level Data Analyst for the execution and evaluation of tactical defense software via system and component level simulations and testing in support of the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems. This position is located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Responsibilities: Analyze system behaviors to identify potential improvements in tactical software, facilitate future capabilities, and assist in the creation of defense designs and preflight configurations for live fire test events. Analyze missile defense system software to deduce system behavior and performance. Analyze massive amounts of missile defense data using statistical analysis techniques to determine and communicate system performance. Develop Python-based tools capable of retrieving, manipulating, and visualizing massive amounts of missile defense data. Develop Python-based tools to script and automate simulation scenario development and execution. Create, maintain, and improve an existing Python-based post-processing and analysis tools suite. Effectively communicate analysis results to customers and program stakeholders. Prioritize and balance both independent and teamwork environments where applicable.
