Help provided solutions that help 1,500 electric and telephone members bring all the advantages of today's evolving technology to rural America. Their solutions are developed specifically to meet the needs of rural utilities and their customers, and include integrated smart grid solutions, advanced metering networks, next-generation energy, grid intelligence, broadband, managed services, mobile, and video. They are a dynamic, growing cooperative with more than 800 employees operating out of eight office locations. They are looking to add experienced staff to help their rural cooperative members develop their technology. Their approach is to educate and support their members through a consultative process.

Role:

  • Position: ISP Technician
  • Location: Preferably local to Cedar Rapids, IA; Huntsville, AL; or Raleigh, NC. Remote candidates considered.
  • Training: 5 weeks, 100% remote. Local candidates pick up equipment; others receive it by mail.
  • Shifts: Mix of first and second shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24x7x365 customer support for ISP partners.
  • Handle inbound calls, chats, and emails.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve voice, data, video, and connectivity issues.
  • Upsell products and services.
  • Track and record calls.

Skills Required:

  • Windows 10, Windows 7, call center support, troubleshooting.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Local candidates preferred but remote considered.
  • Training attendance is critical; missing more than one day can lead to program drop.
  • Strict attendance policy for the first 30 days.
