Your Impact: We are searching for a Top Secret cleared Data Engineer (Senior) to join our team in the NCR or Huntsville, AL. You will be working in an organization that's mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages SAFe agile and works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the mission. The Data Engineer (Senior) is a part of a team that will lead large scale data analysis projects to designs and delivers on premises and cloud-based applications. The Data Engineer (Senior) plans and leads major technology assignments and is responsible for delivering advanced visual analytic applications. The Data Engineer (Senior) is also responsible for designing strategies for enterprise database systems and setting standards for operations, programming, and security. This position can be located in the NCR or Huntsville, AL and is an exciting opportunity for cleared talent with a Top Secret clearance to work the program. Here's what you'll need: Active Top-Secret clearance Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field. Must have at least 8 years' experience with minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer. Preferred: Experience working with large scale data sets Experience working on large scale application development teams SAFe Certified Proven ability to use all Microsoft Office tools Must be able to work in a team environment Git Experience AWS certifications Advanced Analytical Tool Experience Familiar with JIRA and Confluence reporting and analysis At least 6 years experience with ETL. Database ETL engineers should have experience with Oracle 11g/12c, Sun Solaris OS, Linux (CentOS, Red Hat), and Windows environments. Software/scripting engineers should have experience performing software and scripting engineering for data ingest with Java or Python for ETL. Experience with web services and/or microservices. Experience with ETL tools such as NiFi or Informatica Experience using software repository tools such as GIT or SVN Must have at least 6 years of experience with 2 years of experience in application requirements, system development, and implementation. Implementation must include the utilization of I-CASE Information Engineering processes, methodologies, automated I-CASE tools/toolsets, database modeling and design concepts. Experience with web services and/or microservices. Experience with ETL tools such as NiFi or Informatica Experience using software repository tools such as GIT or SVN. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
