Job description

Location: Hybrid (One in-office day and four remote days per week) Clearance Required: Secret Clearance AltView Analytics, a boutique technology solutions company with deep expertise within the Department of Defense, is supporting a leading client in the Huntsville Area in their search for an experienced Business Applications Developer to support PM STORM. This role is critical in driving innovation and efficiency by developing, customizing, and maintaining data-driven applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.
As a subject matter expert, you will leverage your advanced skills in PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI to design and implement impactful solutions that enhance data management, reporting, and process automation for government clients. This position combines telework flexibility with a requirement for one on-site day per week. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and customize SharePoint sites and applications to enhance data management and collaboration.
• Utilize Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to create dynamic, data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain documentation, configuration control, and version management for all applications and systems. Must-Have Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6 to 10 years of general experience, with a strong background as a Power Platform Developer.
• Expertise in creating solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data integration, and database concepts.
• SharePoint proficiency is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in creating Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps, including custom connectors and controls.
• Experience in developing Power Automate flows to automate business processes and integrate applications.
• Active Secret Clearance required. Desired Functions, Languages, and Tools: • Information Systems Modernization (e.g., efficient, auditable, and accelerated processes; systems integration and optimization)
• Technical Communication & Engineering (e.g., application and relational database architecture; SQL, data normalization, query design)
• Data Visualization & Report Automation (e.g., Power BI, Power Query, M, DAX, Power Pivot, VBA, APIs)
• Software Development Oversight (e.g., release management, SDLC governance, Agile methodology)
• Program Management (e.g., MS Project, IMS, WBS)
• Distributed Teams Support (e.g., MS SharePoint, Teams, Planner)
