We are looking for an Army Software Electrical Engineer to join our team in supporting the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO). The HMIF PO will collaboratively develop two complex HMIF formations, one integrated formation for an Armor BCT and one formation for an Infantry BCT within 27 months. The Robotic Controller Integrator will ensure the HMIF common controller aligns with stakeholder requirements and has a smooth transition plan to onramp to a Program of Record office post prototype development. Your day-to-day work will include: Successful Integration of HMIF Common Controller. Leading Controller Integration. Working / interfacing with and supporting DOTmLPF stakeholders across the HMI enterprise. HMIF Common Controller interface requirements development, design, transition plan stakeholder coordination. Advising, coordinating, scheduling, and remaining abreast of engineering and technical support activities applicable to the Common Controller sub-system development and capability integration. Providing integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems. Participating in the development and execution of test strategies. Ascertaining HMIF Common Controller Technology Readiness Level. Participating in Common Controller budgetary discussions. At a minimum you should have the following: Active Secret Clearance/with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within 12 months, if needed. A bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 10-15 years of relevant experience. Ability to work on, and/or lead, multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to develop test plans and lead testing execution of HMIF Common Controller at system level as part of the HMIF systems of systems. Application of DoD acquisition process, authoring DoD acquisition documentation including systems engineering plans, and Performance Based Specifications. Requirements development and decomposition. Past experience in user interface design, hardware and/or software. Engineering Integration of systems of systems, system and sub system level. ICD and IOP development. Testing Experience. Experience in the skills and responsibility areas described above You will be highly desirable if you have: Familiarity with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes. Superior writing skill inclusive of developing technical system-level specifications. Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver focused briefings on complex topics to senior leaders All employees may be called upon to provide their knowledge and/or expertise to proposal efforts including contract re-competes.
