Job description

Responsibilities PeopleTec is currently seeking an Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) Engineer,to support our Redstone Arsenal, AL location. The Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) Engineer will provide technical, programmatic and analytical support to the Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in the area of tactical network interoperability. The AIC Engineer will serve as the PEO staff point of contact for all matters pertaining to tactical information exchange. The AIC Engineer will assist the project offices in their conduct of Army Interoperability Certification (AIC), migration of joint and Army messaging standards, submission of standards waivers to higher headquarters, coordination of warfighter interoperability requirements and other issues as required. The AIC Engineer will work closely with the interoperability action officer within the Aviation Mission Systems and Architecture (AMSA) Project Office. AMSA is the PEO's project office responsible for providing information exchange capability across the aviation fleet. Specific requirements include, but are not limited to: Serve as co-lead for the Aviation - Army Interoperability Certification (A-AIC) Integrated Product Team (IPT) along with the AMSA Project Management Office (PMO) interoperability action officer Support interoperability forums including but not limited to: Army Interoperability Requirements Working Group (AIRWG) Enable Agile AIC IPT Mounted Mission Command (MMC) Protobuf follow-on IPT Data Management & Interoperability Group (DMIG) Command Post Computing Environment (CP CE) Convergence IPT CP CE Aviation Convergence IPT Combat Aviation Brigade 2030 (CAB 2030) Working Group Serve as liaison for tactical interoperability matters with ASA(ALT), the HQDA OCIO/G6 and other higher Army staff elements Generate, route and respond to taskers, both internal and external, concerning tactical interoperability Prepare and present documentation as needed in support of OCIO and PEO decisions concerning tactical interoperability Serve on the Army Acquisition Modernization Cyber Assessment Team (AAMCAT) Assist in assessing cyber vulnerabilities related to the interoperability of tactical systems. Qualifications Required Skills/Experience : Five plus (5+) years experience desired in the foregoing areas; the engineer job related experience must have been gained after receiving the task
related degree. The Engineer must have appropriate education and experience to receive guidance from higher level managers/engineers/scientists and work independently to
accomplish assigned tasks. Travel: 5% Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
