Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
• Manage, develop, and mentor market accountants, build knowledge bases within the team, and serve as a market "expert" to identify and resolve facility-related accounting issues and questions
• Create a culture of achievement, focused on customer service, clear and thorough communication, and team growth and development
• Review financial data for assigned facilities (balance sheet, income statement, journal entries, distributions, reconciliations, and other supporting schedules)
• Perform comprehensive analysis of facility-level financial statements and summarize key trends, performance measures, and financial results for management-reporting purposes
• Provide timely and accurate partnership financial statements, as well as an appropriate level of internal controls
• Lead process improvement initiatives inside Market Accounting and Support Services
• Assist management with oversight of special projects and/or ad hoc reporting needs
• Develop and maintain quality relationships with Support Services and facility teammates
Qualifications
Total education, vocational training, and experience:
• BS in Accounting required
• CPA strongly preferred
• 6 + years' experience in corporate or public accounting; healthcare experience preferred
• 2 + years management experience required
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical skills
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and time management skills
Additionally, candidate should possess strong analytical abilities and written/verbal communication skills. Candidate must be able to work independently and efficiently, with acute attention to details and deadlines. Candidate should have a can-do, will-do attitude, with the ability to influence others towards positive results and actions. Candidate must demonstrate teamwork and partnership with support services and facility teammates and be able to interact professionally with Company officers and directors.
